Blood Donation Camp December 2006
Visiting Haven members take part and encourage community awareness among the villagers in the local area
The first volunatry blood donation camp was carried out on the 17th of Decemb
er 2006 as part of a community awareness programme. 52 donors came forward including members from Haven who were visiting at the time. As a result, our medical centre was able to collect 52 "cards" given by the blood donation service. These "cards" can be used at times when Haven/MBCF have sponsored surgical procedures which require blood for the patients involved and thus reduce costs borne by Haven/MBCF.
